Dashboard widgets are the individual building blocks of your custom dashboards. Each widget displays a specific metric or visualization — a number, a chart, a table, or a map. Understanding how to configure widgets effectively allows you to build dashboards that give you exactly the information you need at a glance.
Widget Types
Metric Card
Displays a single number with optional comparison to a previous period. Perfect for key KPIs like total calls today, answer rate, or credits remaining.
Line Chart
Shows trends over time. Ideal for tracking call volume, conversion rates, or cost trends across days, weeks, or months.
Bar Chart
Compares values across categories — for example, calls by assistant, conversions by campaign, or calls by hour of day.
Pie / Donut Chart
Shows proportional breakdowns — for example, the split between inbound and outbound calls, or the distribution of call outcomes.
Data Table
Displays tabular data with sorting and filtering. Useful for detailed breakdowns like lead-by-lead campaign results or per-assistant performance.
Conversation Feed
A live feed of recent conversations with key details. Useful for monitoring active campaigns or keeping an eye on customer interactions in real time.
Adding a Widget to a Dashboard
Open a dashboard and click Add Widget. A widget gallery will appear showing all available widget types. Select the type you want, then configure it:
- Choose the metric: Select what data the widget should display from the available metrics list.
- Set the time range: Choose a fixed range (last 7 days, last 30 days) or a dynamic range that updates automatically.
- Apply filters: Narrow the data to specific assistants, campaigns, or phone numbers.
- Customize appearance: Set the widget title, choose colors, and configure chart options (axis labels, legend, etc.).
- Save: The widget appears on your dashboard and begins displaying live data.
Arranging Widgets
Widgets can be dragged and dropped to any position on the dashboard. You can also resize widgets by dragging their corners. A well-organized dashboard typically places the most important KPIs at the top in metric card format, with detailed charts and tables below.
Widget Refresh Rate
By default, widgets refresh every 5 minutes. For real-time monitoring during active campaigns, you can set individual widgets to refresh every 30 seconds or 1 minute. Note that more frequent refreshes use more API calls and may impact performance on dashboards with many widgets.
