If your business already has an existing phone system — whether it is a traditional PBX, a cloud VoIP platform, or a contact center solution — Live Bots 365 can integrate with it to add AI capabilities without replacing your current infrastructure. This allows you to keep your existing numbers and workflows while adding the power of AI voice agents.

Integration Approaches

SIP Trunking

Advanced

Connect Live Bots 365 directly to your PBX or VoIP system via SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). This allows calls to flow between your existing phone system and the AI assistant seamlessly. SIP trunking is the most flexible option and works with virtually any modern phone system.

Call Forwarding

Easy

The simplest integration method. Configure your existing phone system to forward calls to a Live Bots 365 number under specific conditions — for example, when all agents are busy, after hours, or for specific departments. No technical setup required.

Bring Your Own Number (BYOC)

Intermediate

If you have existing phone numbers you want to keep, you can port them to Live Bots 365 or use them as the caller ID for outbound calls. Number porting typically takes 2–4 weeks and requires verification of ownership.

API Integration

Advanced

Use the Live Bots 365 API to programmatically initiate calls, transfer calls, and receive call events from your existing call center software. This is the most powerful option for custom contact center deployments.

Compatible Phone Systems

Live Bots 365 has been tested with the following phone systems and platforms:

RingCentral

FreePBX / Asterisk
Cisco Unified CM

Setting Up Call Forwarding (Recommended for Most Users)

Call forwarding is the easiest way to add AI capabilities to your existing phone system. Here is how it typically works:

  1. Purchase a Live Bots 365 phone number and assign an AI assistant to it.
  2. In your existing phone system, set up a forwarding rule to redirect calls to the Live Bots 365 number.
  3. Configure when forwarding activates — after hours, when busy, or always.
  4. Test by calling your main number and verifying the AI assistant answers under the forwarding conditions.
