The Live Bots 365 Web Widget lets you embed an AI assistant directly on your website. Visitors can click the widget to start a voice call or text conversation with your AI agent — no phone number required. This is a powerful way to engage website visitors at the moment of highest intent, when they are actively browsing your products or services.

Widget Types

Voice Widget

Visitors click a button on your website and are immediately connected to your AI assistant via a browser-based voice call. No phone number or app required — the call happens entirely in the browser using WebRTC technology. This is ideal for high-touch sales conversations and customer support.

Chat Widget

A text-based chat interface that appears as a floating button on your website. Visitors can type questions and receive instant AI responses. The same AI assistant that handles phone calls can also power the chat widget, ensuring consistent responses across channels.

Installing the Widget

Installing the widget requires adding a small JavaScript snippet to your website. The process takes less than 5 minutes:

1

Generate Your Widget Code

Go to Integrations > Web Widget in your dashboard. Select the assistant you want to power the widget and customize the appearance (button color, position, greeting message). Click Generate Code.

2

Copy the Snippet

Copy the JavaScript snippet provided. It looks like a small <script> tag with a unique identifier for your assistant.

3

Add to Your Website

Paste the snippet just before the closing </body> tag on every page where you want the widget to appear. Most website builders (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow) have a custom code section where you can add this.

4

Test the Widget

Visit your website and click the widget button to verify it connects to your assistant correctly. Test both the voice and chat flows if you have both enabled.

Customizing the Widget Appearance

The widget can be customized to match your website's branding:

  • Button color: Match your brand's primary color.
  • Position: Bottom-right (default), bottom-left, or custom position.
  • Greeting message: The text that appears when the widget first opens.
  • Assistant avatar: Upload a custom image or use the default AI icon.
  • Widget title: The name displayed at the top of the widget panel.

Page-Specific Behavior

You can configure the widget to behave differently on different pages. For example, on your pricing page, the widget might greet visitors with "Have questions about our plans? I can help!" while on your support page it might say "Need help? Ask me anything." This context-aware behavior is configured in the widget settings.

Privacy Note: The web widget does not collect any visitor data beyond what is shared during the conversation. Ensure your privacy policy discloses the use of AI chat and voice technology on your website.
