The fastest way to add leads to a campaign is by uploading a CSV file. Live Bots 365 accepts standard comma-separated value files and maps your columns to the platform's lead data fields during the import process. A well-formatted CSV import takes less than a minute and can add thousands of leads at once.

Taking a few minutes to clean and format your CSV before uploading will save you time troubleshooting failed imports and ensure your campaign starts with accurate data.

Phone Number Formatting

Phone numbers must be in E.164 international format — a plus sign followed by the country code and the number, with no spaces, dashes, or parentheses. This is the single most common cause of import failures, so it is worth double-checking before uploading.

Import Steps

Prepare your CSV

Open your contact list in Excel or Google Sheets. Ensure the phone column is formatted in E.164 format. Add a header row with column names matching the format above.

Navigate to Leads or Campaign

Go to the Leads section or open the campaign you want to add leads to. Click 'Import Leads.'

Upload the CSV

Click 'Choose File' and select your CSV. The platform will parse the file and show you a preview of the data.

Map Your Columns

Match your CSV columns to the platform's lead fields. The platform will auto-detect standard column names, but you may need to manually map custom columns.

Review and Confirm

Check the preview to verify the data looks correct, then click 'Import.' The platform will process the file and add the leads to your list.

Check for Errors

After import, review the results summary. Any rows with invalid phone numbers or other errors will be flagged. Download the error report to see which records failed and why.
