WhatsApp is the most widely used messaging platform in the world, with over 2 billion active users. Live Bots 365 allows you to deploy an AI chatbot on WhatsApp that can handle customer inquiries, qualify leads, book appointments, and provide support — all through the messaging app your customers already use every day.
Unlike voice calls, WhatsApp conversations are asynchronous — customers can message at any time and receive a response immediately, without needing to be available for a phone call. This makes WhatsApp ideal for customer service, lead nurturing, and appointment reminders where the customer may prefer to communicate on their own schedule.

Getting Started with WhatsApp
WhatsApp requires businesses to apply for API access through Meta. This process involves verifying your business identity and agreeing to WhatsApp's business policies. The approval process typically takes 1–5 business days.
Once approved, connect your WhatsApp Business number to Live Bots 365 through the Integrations section. You will need your WhatsApp Business Account ID and access token from Meta Business Manager.
Create or select an AI assistant to handle WhatsApp conversations. WhatsApp assistants use the same system prompt and tool configuration as voice assistants, but are optimized for text-based conversations.
For outbound WhatsApp messages (proactive messages to customers), you need pre-approved message templates from Meta. These are used for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and notifications.
Send test messages to your WhatsApp number and verify that the assistant responds correctly before going live.
